This page sets out, in plain terms, how long Qada keeps different types of data collected through Qada Jobs, and how to exercise your rights over it. These are defaults we consider reasonable for a business at this stage — they may be refined over time, and any change will be reflected here.
Candidate profiles
Kept while your account is active, plus 24 months after your last login or application. After that, your profile is deleted unless you've engaged with us again in the meantime.
CVs
Kept alongside your profile, and deleted when your account is deleted or when the retention period above lapses.
Applications
An application to a specific role is kept for as long as the role is open, and for 12 months after a rejection, so we can consider you for similar future roles without asking you to apply again — you can ask us to delete a specific application at any time instead.
Employer / company data
Kept for as long as the employer account is active, plus standard accounting retention (typically 5 years) for anything tied to an invoice, in line with normal UAE business record-keeping practice.
Consent records
We keep a record of when you agreed to our Terms, Privacy Policy, and any marketing opt-in — this is kept for as long as your account exists plus a reasonable period after, as evidence of compliance.
Exercising your rights
To request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, email jason@qada.ae or use the deletion request option in your account. Deletion requests are currently reviewed by a person rather than actioned instantly — this is so we can check nothing else (like an active application an employer is relying on) needs to be resolved first. We aim to complete any request within one month.
